I encourage a non-judgmental, loving acceptance of oneself, consciously guiding body, mind, and spirit. I offer a gentle healing form of yoga, appropriate for all body types, physical conditions, and age. My yoga classes are suitable for students from total beginner to experienced.
I love yoga! Why? For many reasons, as yoga has well-documented benefits physically, mentally & emotionally but one of the most important is how fast you feel the effects of this practice! Yoga is very accessible, you can do it anywhere! In your living room, at the park, the airport...yoga is always just a breathe away.
You can show up feeling sore, tired, stressed, or depressed, and by the end of your session you feel remarkably different; aches and pain have diminished or vanished, your body is relaxed, your mind is calm, and your spirit is lifted.
As a registered yoga teacher trained by Lynn McGowan of Toronto, Ont. in the Kripalu tradition, you will learn the fundamentals my teaching has been recognized over the years for, so necessary to practicing safely and avoiding injuries. I will gently guide you through postures for toning the body, breathing techniques for relaxing and energizing and mental development for focus. Let me teach you how yoga can support you in the way you need it to!
